For Husslers
For Buyers
We’re a marketplace app for services (like haircuts, nails, tutoring, etc.) and goods (like crochet tops, embroidery, etc.) provided exclusively by college students, for college students. In fact, we’re college student-owned as well. We’re here to help you get your needs met, no sweat.
Hussler is the name we’ve coined for student service-providers, because “student service-providers” is a mouthful. Also, we’re all about helping students independently start and seamlessly manage their “side-hussle,” so it’s only appropriate.
It’s simple. Download (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hussle-local-college-gigs/id1573358782)our app on the Apple App Store, verify your student status by inputting your university email, and start hussling!
We’ve made searching for services and posting your own gigs as intuitive as possible on our marketplace, so the next time you have to cram for that midterm, you can get a hussler to make you a home-cooked meal, pick up your groceries (and avoid that heavy-duty delivery fee), or even do your laundry.
Right now we’re exclusively at UCLA (lucky Bruins, huh?) but we have plans to expand to other schools in Southern California and in the East Coast in the future.
Because we’re student-needed. All of us can think of at least one person who has their own side-hussle, and usually, they do pretty well! We recognized that although the gig economy existed on college campuses, it was extremely underserved. Students have to conduct business through apps like Instagram or Facebook, and let’s face it, those apps are not optimized for businesses.
With Hussle, we specifically had college students in mind, and we have been planning for YOUR success from day one. Hussle may be an underdog competing against corporate giants, but that’s exactly the point: In a world where students have to fight tooth-and-nail to live independently and pay exorbitant tuition fees, we (college students) are all underdogs. Hussle is here for you, and together we will conquer the giants.
